A copy of your health insurance card
Young Veterinary Clinic can house 2 same sex students at the same time. Having your own transportation is not a requirement.
We just need the letter of intent, a letter from your school acknowledging that your stay is to further your education, a graded externship form will also be sufficient, and a copy of your health insurance card.

Do you provide housing? Do I need to have my own transportation?
Our externships are tailored to each individual student depending on personal interests and school requirements. Externships are available year-round to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students only, for any length of time. (Undergraduates and 1st/2nd year students should contact us about shadowing opportunities)
We have two bedrooms available, which both have access to a kitchen and bath, located just 4 minuets from the clinic. Housing is free but but available on a first come/first served basis. Students who are interested in externships should fill out our Externship Inquiry Form and application.
