Our Backstory
Darrin Young, DVM graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After graduation Dr. Young moved closer to home to help support and provide services for his community. Our clinic opened in July of 1995 as a 2 exam room clinic. In November of 2019 we began renovation to help expand our services. The new clinic was opened in July of 2020. A fun fact about Dr. Young is he enjoys performing surgeries.
Sarah Claytor, DVM joined our practice in 2016. Dr. Claytor graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Claytor is from south central Illinois, soon after graduation she began her search for a high quality mixed animal practice. After visiting our clinic, she fell in love with our community and staff. A fun fact about Dr. Claytor is she enjoys dentistry.
